Gondia Education Society, Gondia (GES) founded in 1958 is one of the premier education societies not only in Vidarbha but the whole of Maharashtra. It is the labour of love of its founder, my father, Late Shri Manoharbhai Patel, a philanthropist and visionary extraordinaire. His vision was to spread affordable quality education among the poorest of the poor people of east Vidarbha region. The greatest tribute to him would be to take his vision forward towards the realization of spreading the light of education among the people of this region.

GES stands for academic excellence, development of skills and creation of future citizens with a sense of responsibility towards their beloved nation. Great educational institutions are not built by money and bricks, but by talented students and competent teachers. The quality of the faculty, students and the vision and dedication of the management are the most important determinant of the prestige of an education institution.

Our founder Chairman, Late Shri Manoharbhai Patel, who put forth the values which form the edifice of GES, believed in simple living and high thinking. Blessed with innate leadership traits, an everlasting thirst for knowledge and a keen aesthetic sense, he lived his life with a purpose, i.e. to work selflessly for the betterment of the community at large. Gondia Education Society continues to aim to inculcate these essential values in our students.

Our endeavor is to develop students’ moral, ethical, human and spiritual values so that each child may develop Character and Confidence with a deep rooted passion in pursuit of excellence. The environment around them inculcates values of commitment, zealousness and pride in everything they do. We have and will continually strive for brighter and more secure prospects for our students. The investment we put in to our students today will help them to achieve greater heights and create brighten future. We have to be enlightened and in turn, become the light of the world. A well educated person is a wholesome person, with intellectual, physical, psychological, social, moral and spiritual wellbeing.
